Tiago serves as an MTSS Consultant -- his mission is to foster courageous leadership systems that develop authentic, restorative, and integrative schools.

Prior to this role, Tiago practiced as a school psychologist for ten years. During this time he also developed extensive knowledge and experience coordinating the implementation of Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports with a diverse array of schools. Tiago has helped schools integrate Social Emotional Learning, Trauma-Informed Practices, and Restorative Practices and Justice as part of their systems of support for all students.

Tiago also co-created a year-long PBIS/SEL academy for adults where many of the aforementioned practices were taught experientially to help educators in the development of their own social emotional competencies.

Most recently, Tiago is an alum of the SEL Fellows Academy.

Tiago's background includes learning in psychology, education, theology, and design.
