Helping young people in tech - How you can change the whole career of someone who just started out

There are plenty of incredibly smart young people out there. A lot of them want to start out early, do internships, found a startup etc. From my own experience, I sadly know that there are not too many chances for them to do what they want.

Even though it's hard to find them, there are still some chances! And you want to know the best part? You can be that chance! It just needs one person that believes in a young person - and trust me this can change someones career.

In this talk I want to share some tips what people with a couple years of experience could do to make it easier for young people in tech.
I'm also going to share what helped me in my early years when I started coding at 13, did my first software internship with 14, started a company with 15 and my first software engineering position with 17.

I made it to my goal to help as many young people as possible and it would mean a lot to me if you could support me on this mission!

Founding and running a software company during your teenage years - is it worth it?

On the one hand, there are a lot of success stories about people who founded their companies early on in life. On the other hand, a lot of people say that enjoying your youth is one of the most important things in life. Can you combine both and what advantages do you have when you're starting out early? I started coding when I was 13 and founded my first company at the age of 15. I will share my honest experiences and talk about what challenges arose on the way, but also about what benefits came with it. Also, I will talk about how managers and more senior engineers can help people that just started out in the tech world.

Supercharge your side project or startup with Firebase

Have you ever built a side project or thought about building your own startup?

One of the most important things is fast and secure development. And here comes Firebase into the game. I will explain how Firebase allows me to run a software company at the age of 17 by myself and how you can leverage the tools provided by Firebase to have a better developer experience (DX), more secure apps, and faster results.

All principles and technologies you will learn about in this talk can be applied immediately in your side projects or startups!

How Firebase allows me to run a software company at the age of 18 by myself

To start your own software company you need a big team and expensive tools... Oh, wait: Not with Firebase. Learn how Firebase enables people to build multi-million user apps even when they are starting on their own.
