From the timberlands of the Southeast to the open country of the American West, land is a common thread in TJ Heath's work. A Georgia-based entrepreneur and business leader, Heath brings more than twenty years of experience founding, growing, and leading companies in real estate development, commercial construction, mining and aggregates, timber investment, retail, and land investment. His roles include founder and president of Landmark Materials, as well as owner and president of Red Rock Land LLC. Through Landmark Materials, Landmark Construction and Development, and other related ventures, TJ Heath has been integral to building a portfolio of high-value companies.

Heath's land interests extend well beyond Georgia. Red Rock Land LLC is a Montana-based real estate company, and its interests span the American West. Heath leads it as owner and president. The business is a reflection of his broader focus, which centers on identifying high-value land opportunities and building long-term holdings in resource-rich, scenic regions.

Heath's own path into business ownership started early. He worked at Old Clinton Gas from age 15, then purchased the business at 21.

Over time, his growing interest in real estate led him to land. Heath established Landmark Land Company and started purchasing timberland near Jones County. Those initial investments showed him how to evaluate land, how to manage timber as an asset for the long term, and how to identify properties that would keep their value. As the company gathered experience and momentum, it extended past its home market and acquired timberland around the Southeast. This base in land and timber investment set up Heath's later work in real estate development, as well as the growth of the Landmark family of companies.

Today, Heath holds a substantial timber portfolio of thousands of acres spread across the Southeast. Permanent conservation protection covers much of that land, a commitment set to last well beyond any single generation. Whether in Southeastern timberland or the American West, TJ Heath's land investments all share a common thread: a focus on places with long-term value.

Landmark Construction and Development, which launched in 2016, has supported commercial construction and development projects across the Southeast. It brought Heath's interests in real estate and building under one roof, and its regional commercial construction and development work is still an important piece of the Landmark story.

In 2022, TJ Heath founded Landmark Materials, and he serves as the company's president. Landmark Materials has, with Heath at the helm, helped develop independent aggregate and quarry operations serving the Southeast. The company carried the Landmark name beyond construction and development into aggregates and mining, bringing a materials business into a portfolio already rooted in building. Aggregate mining and construction are the center of Heath's professional work today.

T.J. Heath's in Georgia experience reaches well past any one industry. Twenty years of work have taken him through real estate development, commercial construction, mining and aggregates, timber investment, retail, and land investment. That variety has shaped his broad view of how land, building, and materials are connected. And because of it, a common foundation in land and long-term ownership runs through so many of his ventures, from the Landmark companies in the Southeast to Red Rock Land in Montana.

Outside of business, TJ Heath's life is built around family and the land. Being with his wife, Megan Heath, and their three young children, Holland, Halle, and Hunt, is what he enjoys, and the outdoors gives them a place where they can slow down and be together. Across his Georgia farmland and his timberland holdings, Heath regards land as more than just an investment. It provides space for family time, shared experiences, and memories that last. That personal connection to the land is reflected in his enjoyment of hunting and the outdoors.

His Georgia farmland is also where his appreciation for land and craftsmanship is perhaps most visible. Heath partnered with renowned architect Jeffrey Dungan there to create a "forever farmhouse." The home has appeared in Southern Living and in Dungan's book The Soulful House. It's an embodiment of Heath's appreciation for craftsmanship, family legacy, and the enduring beauty of the Southern landscape, and a personal expression of the long-term outlook behind his land and timber holdings.

TJ Heath has supported a wide variety of charities over the years, giving particular attention to children's health, faith, and heritage. As a board member of Jay's Hope, he helps an organization that serves children with cancer. Among the other recipients of his support are Beverly Knight Olson Children's Hospital in Macon, Sunrise Ministries, St. Mary's Good Samaritan Hospital in the Lake Oconee area, and a number of churches.

For Heath, history and heritage are a longtime focus. His help has gone toward preserving several historical farms and homes in the Southeast, and his support has gone toward history and heritage projects. That preservation work, taken with his timberland conservation and his farmhouse project, shows how much he values the land, the buildings, and the history of the South.

Since buying his first business at 21, TJ Heath has gone on to lead companies across construction, aggregates, timber, and land, and his career has been built on long-term thinking and a deep connection to the land. The Georgia entrepreneur keeps growing Landmark Materials and Red Rock Land LLC today, and his focus stretches past development and into stewardship. He works to leave the land better than he found it through conservation and giving, and his goal is to protect more land than he has developed. All the while, Heath continues to support the charities, churches, and heritage projects he has long championed.
