An interactive introduction to Ink, an (open source) tool for writing powerful interactive narratives, used by games including 80 Days, Sea of Thieves and Sable.

The talk is presented by Tom Kail, who maintains the official Ink+Unity plugin and worked at Inkle (developers of Ink) on their multi-award-winning ink games 80 Days, Heaven's Vault and Overboard.

Over 3 billion people play computer games, the games industry is worth over 200 billion dollars globally and it is growing at an incredible rate. The UK is at the forefront of this industry with decades of experience and a strong supply of talented people with the skills needed to make great games.

British games studios are highly export driven and bring money into the country from all around the world. Founding, nurturing and growing these studios within Norfolk offers a great opportunity to grow the wealth of the entire region and give our young people an exciting career option.
