Tony Meehan is a software engineering leader, cybersecurity expert, and The Moth storyteller. After graduating from The University of Tulsa, Tony spent ten years at the National Security Agency in an office called Tailored Access Operations. In 2014, Tony joined the cybersecurity startup Endgame to bring a new endpoint detection and response product to market. Endgame was acquired by Elastic in 2019. As Vice President of Engineering at Elastic, Tony led a 220+ globally distributed Security team building a unified SIEM, Endpoint, and Cloud Security product on top of the world's leading search platform. In 2023, Tony co-founded Prequel, an intelligent observability platform for developers. Tony’s also an award winning The Moth storyteller. The Moth is a national non-profit and syndicated National Public Radio show dedicated to the art and craft of storytelling in front of a live audience.
