Kelly Gonsalves started her accounting firm, Totally Booked in NYC, 8 years ago with the mission of assisting small businesses in becoming more profitable through efficient processes. She took this opportunity to further embrace technology and implement automation where possible. Kelly has a talent for bringing people together, and coaching app partners on growth. She is a leading voice on social media - advocating for working with other firms to power growth for all. Her expertise with accounting automation has made her an in demand consultant for app partners. She happily splits her time between her firm clients, and tech consulting.
Beyond Accounting, she has gone on to co-found 3 other companies including an Etsy shop that sells accounting focused swag for her peers. This is her passion project and creative outlet.

In her downtime Kelly enjoys paddle boarding on the lake with her dog, Nina, cooking up a great meal, or taking on DIY projects at home.

When I started in Accounting I didn't even know that apps were a thing, aside from the ones I downloaded on my phone. These days I don't know how I would do my work without them! Since transforming my firm to be completely virtual in 2016 I have implemented a lot of apps for client work, teamwork, and even for other accounting firms in need of tech solutions. Apps and technology have made my company, and me, more efficient. In this session we will discuss what types of apps I consider to be must-have for ProAdvisors, but we will also expand across several niches.
