Tun leads AI Engineering at Lenses, a self-service tool for engineers that work with different flavours of Apache Kafka across multiple clusters. He's focused on helping companies imagine and implement their strategic data vision with high volume real-time data and agentic AI systems. He was previously a VP of Data and Data Engineer at high growth startups and has led cross-functional data teams in developing analytics platforms and data-intensive AI applications.

Tun is a co-organiser for the annual PyData London conference and a co-founder of PyData Cornwall. He is a strong advocate in the Python data engineering community and is also involved in organising Apache Kafka meetups and events. He is one of the key contributors to Lenses.io open source AI engineering as well as Quix Streams, a popular open source Python stream processing library.

In his spare time, Tun goes surfing, plays guitar and tends to his analogue cameras.
