Tyler leads the Applied AI Engineering team at Redis; working hands-on with customers, community and partners on real-time ML/AI workloads. He maintains RedisVL, the AI-native Python client for Redis and his team spearheads ecosystem integrations and applied AI research internally. Previously, Tyler led MLE's at a series of early-stage ecommerce startups building neural search & recommendation systems. His passions involve ML system design, building useful developer tools, and coding with AI (thanks Cursor). He also enjoys distilling myths, building bridges, and sharing resources when helpful.
