Being a physicist by training, Ulrik is now a PhD student in computer science at the Center for Systems Biology Dresden, a joint institute of the Max Planck Institute of Molecular Cell Biology and Genetics and the TU Dresden. He's mainly working on bringing biology and augmented/virtual reality closer together, to aid scientists gain better insight into multidimensional microscopy and simulation data.
