Úna Redmond has been involved in student activities for over 25 years and has considerable experience in the areas of student leadership, extracurricular learning and student engagement. In her home institution, she developed a unique credit-bearing module which focuses on reflection on learning gained through engagement with outside the classroom activities. She has a long association with ACUI and has served as a Member-at-Large on the Board of Trustees and several different roles on the Region VII RLT. In addition, she has presented at ACUI regional and International Conferences on more than a dozen occasions since her initial engagement with the Association in 2003. She is the current Chair of ASUA, an Irish network which supports professional staff in student activities. Úna holds a Bachelors degree in Social Science and a Masters Degree in Business Studies from University College Dublin. She also holds a Masters Degree in Education and Training Management from Dublin City University and in 2019 she gained her Doctoral Degree from the same institution.
