Vaibhav Gujral is a principal cloud architect at Charles Schwab, where he provides technical leadership to multiple engineering and operation teams, develops platform architecture blueprints, guides the development of junior engineers into individual-contributor leaders, and bridges the gaps between platform teams with application and central architecture teams. He also advises the platform organization in technology strategy, managing between the immediate demands of ensuring production reliability, the near-term goals of key firm-wide projects related to growth and modernization, and the need to align towards and deliver future technologies.

He specializes in cloud strategy and governance, cloud security, cloud architecture, application architecture, microservices architecture, Artificial Intelligence, FinOps, and DevOps practices. He helps enterprises adopt the cloud correctly by clearly understanding the motivations and developing a cost-effective solution utilizing suitable architectural patterns and design principles.
