My name is Koen Van Looveren and I'm a passionate Android and Flutter developer. I started my journey in the world of Native Android development back in 2017, and soon after, I became interested in Flutter before its first stable release. As soon as it was released, I introduced Flutter to the company I was working for, icapps, in January 2018. Since then, I have been the Flutter tech lead at icapps.
In 2020 and 2021, I was the lead developer for the COVID applications in Belgium, which was an amazing experience. I am very enthusiastic about mobile development and Flutter, and I believe that open source is extremely important. Since I started working with Flutter, I have been giving back to the community by contributing to open source projects.
I joined Flutter Belgium to make sure Flutter keeps getting bigger in Belgium.
