My name is Velmira, and I am a Data Engineer with experience in designing and building scalable data pipelines and storage solutions. My work focuses on creating robust data architectures, including data lakes and, previously, data warehouses. I have a strong interest in Open Source technologies and enjoy leveraging them to solve complex data challenges.

Currently, I’m part of the Data Engineering team at SAP, where I work on the Core Data Lake project, contributing to the development of high-performance, large-scale data processing solutions.

Outside of work, I’m a big animal lover and share my home with two fluffy Pomeranians and my husband who bring lots of energy and joy to my day.
