Vicky Fieschel is a registered nurse and has been in the healthcare industry for 26 years. Her background includes critical care, management, and long-term care. She served as a manager for ICU and PCU for five years throughout the COVID pandemic but is currently the Restorative Care Coordinator for her facility's community living center. She serves as an adjunct facility educator for various programs throughout her organization. She believes that providing ongoing continuing education to nursing is essential to ensure the growth and development of the profession.

She had her Associate Degree in Applied Science in Nursing at Mountain Empire Community College, Bachelor of Nursing from the University of Virginia College at Wise and Master of Science in Nursing degrees from University of Phoenix. She is currently enrolled in the Doctor of Nursing Practice program at Old Dominion University. She is a registered nurse and is Six Sigma Lean Yellow belt certified. She holds a certificate in Health Informatics from American Medical Informatics Association (AMIA). She is currently the co-chair for the Professional Practice and Quality Council. She is a member of the American Nurses Association and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society.

When she’s not taking care of patients, she loves to travel with her husband and read. She helped to coordinate a large medical mission, over 20 years ago, in southwest Virginia that continues to operate providing services for the underserved. She is a lifelong learner and loves to educate herself on anything new and upcoming in the world of nursing.
