KubeCon Optimizing and reducing costs on Kubernetes
In order to grow and thrive, all the technology solutions need to follow the bussines model.
When designing and building platforms and applications, we should consider the revenue sources and profit levers. Make sure the architecture gets aligned and follows the money. The code would work fine and efficiently in the respective platform but if it is expensive to implemente or operate, how it will last?
On this session I'll deliver strategies and tooling (like Karpenter and other vendor or open sources tools) to efficiently execute the code of your containers on Kubernetes and other estrategies that you can apply in your Kubernetes platform.
Session not only limited to Architects but also and really valuable for Development, DevOps and Platform Engineering teams that can definitely leverage these strategies to align to the business goals.
JCONF - Optimizing the containers on behalf of your applications
When designing and building applications, we must consider the revenue sources and profit levers. It’s important to find the dimension you’re going to make money over, then make sure the architecture follows the money. The code would work fine and efficiently but if it is expensive to execute, how it will last?
On this session I'll deliver strategies and tooling to efficiently execute the code of your containers on Kebernetes and other estraggies your can apply in the cloud.
Both Development, DevOps and Platform Engineering teams can definitely leverage these strategies to align to the business goals.
KCD - Reduce costs and Optimize on your cloud along with Karpenter
Do you want to reduce costs with Karpenter? How about diversifying with Spot EC2 instances and Graviton processors?
Karpenter is a cluster auto scaling solution that enables just-in-time and right-sized scaling of worker nodes in Amazon EKS, can pick nodes based on workload requirements, optimizes cluster using consolidation for efficient bin packing, and seamlessly integrates with CI/CD workflows and deployments. Now Karpenter is fully integrated and supported on EKS Auto Mode that just was released on 2024 Re:Invent!
Platform Engineering team can definitely leverage this solution to align to the business goals.
