Víctor Aguayo is a Technology Architect at BCP, with more than 20 years of experience in software architecture, cloud computing, distributed systems, and Artificial Intelligence.

He specializes in cloud-native architectures on Kubernetes, microservices with Dapr, and event-driven platforms using Kafka and Apache Flink. He is currently also working on architectures based on Artificial Intelligence, AI agents, MCP, agentic workflows, and durable workflows, exploring how to combine reasoning, automation, resilience, and governance to bring AI solutions into enterprise and mission-critical environments.

At BCP, he leads proofs of concept, defines architectural standards and baselines, and promotes best practices in resilience, observability, portability, security, and cost optimization. His work focuses on connecting cloud-native platforms, distributed systems, and emerging agentic architectures to build scalable and governable solutions.

Previously, he served as a Principal Architect at Cervecería y Maltería Quilmes, working on architectures built on AWS.

He has participated as a speaker at Global Azure Peru 2025 and 2026, GDG DevFest Lima 2025, and Kubernetes Community Days Lima 2026, and is an active member of the Rust Peru community.

Víctor Aguayo es Technology Architect en BCP, con más de 20 años de experiencia en arquitectura de software, cloud, sistemas distribuidos e Inteligencia Artificial.

Está especializado en arquitecturas cloud-native sobre Kubernetes, microservicios con Dapr y plataformas event-driven con Kafka y Apache Flink. Actualmente trabaja también en arquitecturas basadas en Inteligencia Artificial, agentes IA, MCP, workflows agénticos y workflows durables, explorando cómo combinar razonamiento, automatización, resiliencia y gobierno para llevar soluciones de IA a entornos empresariales y de misión crítica.

En BCP lidera pruebas de concepto, define estándares y baselines de arquitectura y promueve prácticas de resiliencia, observabilidad, portabilidad, seguridad y optimización de costos. Su trabajo se enfoca en conectar plataformas cloud-native, sistemas distribuidos y nuevas arquitecturas agénticas para construir soluciones escalables y gobernables.

Anteriormente se desempeñó como Principal Architect en Cervecería y Maltería Quilmes, trabajando con arquitecturas sobre AWS.

Ha participado como speaker en Global Azure Perú 2025 y 2026, GDG DevFest Lima 2025 y Kubernetes Community Days Lima 2026, y es miembro activo de la comunidad Rust Perú.
