Vickie Leonard, RN, FNP (retired), PhD was the Program Coordinator for the Western States Pediatric Environmental Health Specialty Unit (WSPEHSU) for five years and now heads up the WSPEHSU’s Improving Environmental Health in Early Care and Education Program https://wspehsu.ucsf.edu/projects/environmental-health-in-early-care-and-education-project/. Her work at WSPEHSU has also included outreach to Promotores de Salud and she currently writes a newsletter for Promotores de Salud and Community Health Workers on children’s environmental health. She also recently completed a second addition of the Green Cleaning, Sanitizing, and Disinfecting Toolkit for Early Care and Education.
