Vikas Balani is a Software Engineer at Confluent who recently graduated with a Bachelor’s in Computer Science from BITS Pilani. He works in the Kafka Connect team where he focussed on CI/CD pipelines and frameworks for performance testing of Kafka Connectors, inorder to address performance bottlenecks that may arise in new versions of Confluent Cloud Connectors. His areas of interest include distributed systems, software defined networking(SDN) and scalable systems.
