Vinod Cheriyan, Ph.D, is an accomplished analytics leader with over 15 years of experience blending machine learning, analytics architecture, and software systems. Currently a Machine Learning Data Scientist at Stitch Fix, he designs optimization systems, drives inventory strategy, and contributes to company-wide experimentation practices. Before this, he led impactful data science initiatives at Enova Financial, co-developing real-time decision platforms and optimization tools that delivered measurable ROI.
Vinod holds a Ph.D. in Operations Research from Georgia Tech and dual engineering degrees from IIT Bombay. He has taught at the university level, served on the board of INFORMS, and is a published researcher in behavioral finance and data science. Passionate about mentorship and inclusion, he has also championed ERG leadership and DEI initiatives throughout his career.
