Vipin Tanna is the technical founder and CEO of Gabriel Operator, a Utrecht-based platform for AI personas: domain-specific agents that see, hear, speak and act, rehearse every action in a simulation, and wait for human approval before anything irreversible happens. He has built and shipped 14 of these personas across banking, logistics, retail, hospitality, recruiting and education.
Before founding Gabriel Operator, Vipin spent 15 years in software engineering in the UK and the Netherlands, including five years in R&D at ING Innovation Labs and contract roles at Air France-KLM, Essent and PinkRoccade, where he delivered software used by 140 Dutch municipalities. He started his career at sensewhere, ANDigital and Accenture in London and Edinburgh. He is an alumnus of Techstars Amsterdam and Antler, and holds an MSc in Computing Science from Durham University.
Vipin gives talks and hands-on workshops on agentic AI, and helps organisations become AI native with people always in control.
