State of the CNCF project - OpenEBS
OpenEBS is one of the most widely deployed storage solutions for Kubernetes stateful workloads. Its adoption has grown exponentially and today it is the most popular choice in the community as per the usage statistics. As is the case with any project, OpenEBS too has undergone evolutionary changes with regards to its architecture and maturity. This talk will help us understand the current state of the project, with a special focus on the latest storage engine of OpenEBS, namely Mayastor. The talk also highlights the contributions from Microsoft, to extend Mayastor’s control and data plane.

This talk gives an insight into the performance numbers of Mayastor when running mixed workload IOs (reads, writes and updates).
