Vivek Agrawal is a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) expert and AI-driven digital engineering leader with more than 15 years of experience delivering enterprise transformation across high-tech, consumer packaged goods, medical devices, automotive, aerospace, and defense. His expertise includes Digital Thread and Digital Twin strategy, enterprise PLM architecture, engineering modernization, sustainable manufacturing, and AI-enabled product development.
Currently, Vivek serves as a PLM and AI-Driven Digital Engineering Leader at Deloitte Consulting, where he leads global PLM strategy and engineering transformation initiatives for Fortune 100 clients. He architects AI-augmented PLM ecosystems, integrates large language models for engineering search and metadata enrichment, modernizes R&D operations, and connects PLM with ERP, MES, QMS, cloud, and data platforms. He also advises senior executives on digital engineering strategy, data governance, migration, operating models, and value realization.
Throughout his career, Vivek has led multi-million-dollar programs focused on improving time-to-market, engineering productivity, regulatory compliance, product quality, and operational efficiency. His experience includes delivering a PLM transformation that generated more than $20 million in annual savings, leading enterprise quality and compliance programs, developing end-to-end BOM strategies, enabling cloud-based engineering environments, and building PLM–ERP integration frameworks.
His platform expertise spans 3DEXPERIENCE, Teamcenter, SAP PLM, and Oracle Agile, supported by experience with Azure, AWS, OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, Python, Java, C#, Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB, Microsoft 365, and Power Platform.
Vivek holds a Bachelor of Engineering from Jadavpur University and a Diploma in Advanced Management from XLRI. He is also certified in Lean Six Sigma and SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager.
