Vivek Chandela is a Software Engineer at ShareChat, working on ML infrastructure for Ad recommendations. During his tenure at ShareChat, he has undertaken impactful projects, including implementing a real-time event joiner with Flink and Kafka for 5B+ events/day, contributing to a ScaNN-based vector similarity search database, leading cost-saving initiatives, and conducting user-level A/B tests. His current work focuses on re-architecting the entire Ads Feature pipeline at ShareChat for a more adaptive and personalized user experience.

Vivek has completed his bachelor's from IIIT Hyderabad and is highly passionate about stream processing and distributed systems.
