Currently serving as Director of Engineering at Sunland Logistics Solutions, he has played a key role in scaling the organization from $30M to $100M by designing innovative warehouse solutions, leading high-value RFPs, and driving operational excellence.
Vivek specializes in warehouse design, WMS implementation, process optimization, and automation technologies such as AMRs, AGVs, AS/RS, and computer vision systems. He has successfully contributed to over $500M in business bids, developed tailored logistics solutions for diverse industries, and led cross-functional teams to deliver measurable results, including annual cost savings of $2M through continuous improvement initiatives.
With a strong foundation in industrial engineering and lean methodologies, Vivek has extensive experience in supply chain optimization, demand planning, and supplier performance improvement, including work with Caterpillar through L&T Technology Services. He is skilled in data-driven decision-making, KPI development, and leveraging tools such as SAP, NetSuite, Power BI, and advanced analytics platforms to enhance operational performance.
Vivek holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington and is certified in Six Sigma Green Belt, PMP, and APICS/CPIM.
