Vivekananda (Vivek) Chittireddy is an accomplished and award-winning Data Engineer with over a decade of experience architecting and scaling high-performance data systems. Currently at Meta, he leads initiatives across analytics, privacy, and AI/ML data infrastructure, notably transforming the data foundations and product architecture of Meta’s Advanced Analytics and enhancing Ads privacy compliance. Vivek has a strong background in big data technologies, including Spark, Kafka, Hive, and HBase, and has pioneered internal tools such as the Downstream Notification Tool and Tidy ACL. Prior to Meta, he held technical leadership roles at L Brands and Nationwide Insurance, delivering enterprise-grade solutions in inventory management, order systems, and telematics. He holds a Master’s in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Tyler and is a certified developer for Apache Kafka and Hadoop.
