Vonkeith Richard was born in Crowley, Louisiana July 4th 93', raised in Lafayette and Baton Rouge Louisiana throughout his childhood. In third grade a guest speaker came to Wedgewood elementary school in East Baton Rouge Parish to speak about entrepreneurship. She asked us to draw out what do we want to be when we grow up. For some reason as an eight year old I drew a silhouette of my future self cutting hair in Atlanta, Ga. Six years later my mother moved my three siblings and I to Atlanta, Ga seeking better job opportunity. After beginning high school at South Gwinnett in 07' little did I know my barbering journey would began in 2 years. Homecoming of 09' I was a junior in high school lining all of my friends before the dance with a pair of cheap Wal Mart clippers. A friend of mine later told me he went to his original barber and she stated whoever lined you up knows what he's doing. That gave me the confidence I needed for my journey. Fast forward Thirteen years later, I've become one of the more successful licensed barbers in my industry. I've established my own hair studio, and product line (Top Tier Hair Club). I've landed sponsorship deals, created a grand social media presence educating others through multiple haircut videos. My journey was easy up to this point however I'm always striving for greatness. One phrase that has always kept me forward progressing; Ask, Believe, Receive.
