Full Stack Test Automation

A lot of developers do not like writing tests and I used to be one of those developers until when I switched career paths and discovered that writing high-level tests is so much fun and that it gives you not only the perspective of a developer but also the perspective of a user who sees the application as a tool to make work easier in the day to day engagements.

The talk will be geared towards demystifying the myth that testing is not important and also covering why developers should consistently test both the backend and the frontend and what different levels should be tested for a product to be considered robust and ready to go to production.
Full-stack test automation is not only a cool title but a framework and a roadmap towards understanding what is really necessary when it comes to developing and releasing products to users of your platform.
Testing is one field where one does not stop to grow and the reality is QA Automation Engineers are here to stay, my goal is to not only impact more developers to try out QA-Automation but to demystify the fact that high-level automated testing is not necessary.

My tech focus on Google technologies that help in ensuring the testing ecosystem become more usable for QA/Automation will be on puppeteer framework, Kubernetes for the Testing CI/CD and tools like the chrome-dev tools which is a handy tool for any UI-automated test.

Bridging the Gap between Development and Testing

Millions of lines of code are written every single day and they are shipped to millions of products under development or in production. With the great demand for software products, comes great demand for proper and wholistic testing both from a bottom-top and a top-bottom approach. As we scale our products and maintain them, how do we ensure that we are not only testing but we are testing right?
This lightning talk will give insights on how to model the testing framework around the development and inception of a product and ensure that testing is not only an afterthought but a reality in the complete lifecycle of the product. The focus will be on coming up with proper testing strategies and identifying what are the key areas and factors to look at before formulating the testing strategy or test decisions to use when testing your product.
