Wendi is a Process and Quality Engineer at Woven by Toyota in Tokyo working on software quality, confidence in software tools, and functional safety, with a broader background in software engineering and computer science. She began her career in formal methods research, later transitioning to embedded software and functional safety in railways and automotive. She initiated and coordinates the LLVM Qualification Group, contributes to the ELISA Lighthouse OSS Special Interest Group and the Xen Functional Safety Working Group, and is a Software Heritage Ambassador. Her community work focuses on connecting the evidence already produced by open-source projects with the needs of users in safety-critical environments.
