Wes Eklund is from Louisville Kentucky and currently a Software Engineer at AWS. He studied engineering at the University of Kentucky and has worked at mostly startups until starting at AWS in 2021.

Passionate about new tech and solving interesting problems, Wes has taken his career from Full Stack Software Engineering to Data Science and Machine Learning.

Wes now works for AWS within Professional Services' Customer Engineering org. Customer Engineering offers dedicated teams of software engineers who can build solutions in the same way that AWS and Amazon core services are built and operated.

When he isn't coding, Wes can been seen with a hammer vigoriously trying to fix a old Victorian house
