At MapTiler, I am responsible for developer relations, and I focus on identifying the most effective ways to empower and support the developer community.

I have more than 15 years of experience developing web mapping applications across various projects at the Cartographic and Geological Institute of Catalonia and in startup environments. I also serve as an associate professor at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, where I teach web mapping courses in the Master’s program in Geoinformation.

I strongly believe in the open movement, whether it relates to software, data, or knowledge. For that reason, I am a member of the Spanish OSGeo community and OpenStreetMap.

En MapTiler, soy responsable de las relaciones con los desarrolladores y me centro en identificar las maneras más efectivas de empoderar y apoyar a la comunidad de desarrolladores.

Cuento con más de 15 años de experiencia desarrollando aplicaciones de cartografía web en diversos proyectos del Instituto Cartográfico y Geológico de Cataluña y en entornos de startups. También soy profesor asociado en la Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona, ​​donde imparto cursos de cartografía web en el Máster en Geoinformación.

Creo firmemente en el movimiento abierto, ya sea en el ámbito del software, los datos o el conocimiento. Por ello, soy miembro de la comunidad española de OSGeo y de OpenStreetMap.
