Is your game popular in China?
How to get started in the biggest games market in the world: where Chinese PC players find games, what a Steam game needs before Chinese players will try it, how to read Chinese reviews, and which first steps cost almost nothing. Based on 90+ Western games Huqiao Games has worked on in China.
You are the overseas market now
The centre of gaming has moved to China. Chinese players are now the biggest language group on Steam, and Chinese studios are shipping to the West. This talk maps what that means for Western studios: where the players are, what the data on the China Radar shows, which Western games added content for Chinese players and what happened next, and what to do in the next twelve months. Live demo, real cases, take-home checklist. DevGAMM Lisbon, 18 November 2026.
