She is a co-chair of KubeCon China 2026 and served on the Program Committees for Open Source Summit North America and Open Source Summit Japan in 2025.

Challenges and Practices of Measuring Open Source Community Project Health
The open-source world is an ecosystem in which projects and communities are interconnected. Understanding a project's health through measurements and seeking suitable means to achieve a prosperous and sustainable open-source software community is a topic of great concern for both maintainers and community developers. The health of an open-source project is not limited to traditional metrics of software engineering quality and iteration management; it also encompasses factors such as community status and values within open collaboration.
The developer ecosystem and community atmosphere play a significant role in these evaluations, which presents substantial challenges in effectively measuring community health—whether it be through data collection, identity authentication, or the construction of evaluation metrics.
In this talk, two members of the CHAOSS community will discuss the challenges of measuring open-source community health based on CHAOSS metrics, as well as a series of practical implementations in enterprises, including:
1.Macro observability of overall ecological trends;
2. Meso-level insights into the observability of open-source community ecosystems;
3. Micro-level evaluations and incentives for developer contributions.
Additionally, this session will feature a Birds of a Feather (BoF) segment, inviting project owners (practitioners) and researchers in attendance to discuss the challenges faced during project maintenance and how measurements and operations can help communities grow better.
AI Model Distribution Challenges And Best Practices
As the demand for scalable AI/ML grows, efficiently distributing AI models in cloud-native infrastructure has become a pivotal challenge for enterprises. The panel dives into the technical and operational strategies for deploying models at scale -- from optimizing model storage and transfer to ensuring consistency across clusters and regions. Experts from different companies and CNCF projects will debate critical questions like: How can Kubernetes-native workflows automate and accelerate model distribution while minimizing latency and bandwidth costs? How to efficiently distribute huge models sizing hundreds of GBs or TBs? What are the challenges proposed by distributed inference and the prefilling-decoding architecture? How are models updated in the reinforcement learning post-training paradigm? What role do standards like OCI artifacts or specialized registries play in streamlining versioned model delivery?
Middle-Platform Empowerment: Growing and Sustaining Open Source Projects at Ant Group
This session introduces Ant Group OSPO's approach to growing and sustaining open source projects through governance and tooling services.
We employ systematic strategies to discover and nurture open source talent, providing comprehensive lifecycle support from project initiation to incubation and maturation. These governance practices ensure that projects are well-managed, leading to sustainable development and long-term success.On the other hand, we leverage digital and tooling-based open source infrastructure to create dynamic ecosystems. This includes digital growth dashboards that offer relational insights and analytics, as well as contribution incentive mechanisms that promote deeper community engagement.

Enhancing Open Source Collaboration: From Incentive Programs to Data-Driven Contribution Metrics
In this session, we will explore, analyze, and compare various existing models of incentivizing open source developers and the effectiveness of these models in promoting sustained contributions. We will cover different types of incentive programs such as:
1. Project-Based Internships: Programs like Google Summer of Code (GSoC), Open Source Promotion Plan (OSPP), and Outreachy.
2. Bounty Models: Platforms like IssueHunt and IssueBounty.
3. Direct Funding Models: Initiatives like GitHub Sponsors and Open Collective.
Based on this foundation, this session will introduce a series of validated practices from various open source projects, corporate environments, and academic communities. These practices leverage an algorithm that precisely measures developer contributions within the community through collaborative behaviors. The contributions are quantified and scored, and the results are used to reward developers, thereby promoting better open source collaboration and community engagement. We call this measurement methodology Openrank.
Global and Regional Open Source Adoption and Participation in the Era of AI
This panel will provide an in-depth exploration of global and regional open source adoption and participation from the perspectives of enterprise OSPOs and open source foundations. It will feature representatives from leading Asian tech giants and the LFAI & Data Foundation. We will begin by examining how different regions engage with open source, with a focus on the current state and challenges in Asia. The discussion will address the responsibilities and challenges faced by OSPOs, highlighting regional variations. We will also explore how OSPOs and foundations can collaborate in the AI era to optimize and enhance their practices, supporting developers in better integrating into the global open source ecosystem.
