Yannis Martin is an engineer and sociologist by training. With over twenty years of experience in the digital transformation of businesses, he has worked for the past ten years as a consultant in project management, cybersecurity governance, and interim management. In 2024, he began doctoral research at the intersection of artificial intelligence, complexity theory, and the humanities. His work explores AI both as a technical mediator of human cognition and as a component of complex socio-technical systems. Since 2021, he has taught at the University of Avignon, before joining emlyon business school and INSA Lyon in 2025.

Yannis Martin est ingénieur et sociologue de formation. Fort de plus de vingt ans d’expérience dans la transformation numérique des entreprises, il exerce depuis dix ans comme consultant en gestion de projets, en gouvernance de la cybersécurité et en management de transition. En 2024, il entreprend une recherche doctorale à l’intersection de l’intelligence artificielle, des théories de la complexité et des sciences humaines. Ses travaux explorent l’IA à la fois comme médiation technique de la cognition humaine et comme composante des systèmes socio-techniques complexes. Depuis 2021, il enseigne à l’Université d’Avignon, avant de rejoindre en 2025 l’emlyon et l’INSA Lyon.
