Yunseong Choi is the founder and lead of the Korea Open Source Security Community (K-OSSC), a first-cohort OpenSSF Global Ambassador, and an adjunct professor at Kyonggi University. He currently lectures at Korea University, where his SW supply chain security research is based. With 20 years in national cybersecurity strategy and policy, he is a pioneer of software supply chain security and SBOM policy and standardization in Korea, and is currently drafting a CRA preparedness playbook for Korean stakeholders — bridging Korean industry and government with the global open source security community.

He has directed 20 national e-Government security projects, launched the 'Best of the Best (BoB)' program that has produced Korea's top white-hat talent, and pioneered OT/ICS converged security education, establishing graduate programs in the field. He delivered the keynote at OpenSSF Community Day Korea 2025 and speaks internationally on open source security, SBOM, and CRA readiness.

오픈소스보안커뮤니티(K-OSSC)의 설립자이자 리드로, OpenSSF 글로벌 앰배서더(1기)이며 고려대·경기대 겸임교수로 재직 중이다. 국가 사이버보안 전략·정책 분야에서 20년의 경력을 쌓았으며, 한국 SW 공급망 보안과 SBOM(소프트웨어 자재명세서) 정책·표준화를 개척해 왔다. 현재 국내 이해관계자를 위한 EU 사이버복원력법(CRA) 대응 플레이북을 집필하며, 한국의 산업·정부와 글로벌 오픈소스 보안 커뮤니티를 잇는 가교 역할을 하고 있다.

전자정부 보안 사업 20건을 총괄했고, 국내 최정상 화이트햇 인재를 배출해 온 '차세대 보안리더 양성 프로그램(Best of the Best, BoB)'을 성공적으로 출범시켰으며, OT/ICS(운영기술/산업제어시스템) 융합보안 분야를 개척해 대학원 과정 신설을 주도했다. OpenSSF Community Day Korea 2025 기조연설을 맡았으며, 오픈소스 보안·SBOM·CRA 대응을 주제로 국내외에서 강연하고 있다.
