His art explores the marginalized narratives of queer and othered bodies in traditional art history. YUYU's artwork has been featured in numerous local and international group shows, as well as solo exhibitions at prestigious global art centers such as Berlin, Paris, and Seoul. One of Liu's photographs belongs to the permanent collection of the Tom of Finland Foundation in Los Angeles, California.
