She has a diverse background that includes roles as a teacher, instructional specialist, administrator, and central office content specialist. Dr. Motley's expertise covers several key areas within education, including social-emotional learning, formative assessment, restorative practices, and Multi-Tiered Systems of Supports (MTSS). Her knowledge and leadership in these areas play a crucial role in transforming school culture and creating supportive learning environments. As a certified Restorative Practices Trainer through the International Institute for Restorative Practices (IIRP), Dr. Motley passionately supports educational leaders in integrating restorative practices and social-emotional learning into school culture and instructional programming. Her mission is to empower educational communities to embrace the importance of cultivating a culture of collaboration and reflective practices that foster a sense of belonging and success for students and adults.
