Zahra Al-Saloom (she/hers) is a Program Manager under the Colorado Energy Office’s Transportation team. She co-manages the Charge Ahead Colorado program; this program provides grant funding for community-based Level 2 and DC fast charging. Under this program, Zahra leads multifamily housing EV charging efforts, including developing and implementing Colorado’s first EV charging portfolio application for MFH. Her work aims to reduce barriers for multifamily properties, including income-qualified housing, to ensure that MFH residents are charging where they live. Zahra obtained her Masters of Arts in Political Science, specializing in Environmental Policy and Comparative Politics, at Colorado State University (Go Rams!).
