Zahra has been with the Colorado Energy Office since October 2021. She works on the Transportation team’s community-based and multifamily housing charging programs. She also chairs the Colorado Electric Vehicle Coalition. Coming from an educational and professional background in environmental equity and access, she is working with her team and stakeholders to close the gap in charging infrastructure and prioritize priority areas like multifamily housing, DI communities, and community spaces.
Equitable Access to Community-Based Charging Grant Programs
For there to be equitable access to community-based charging grant programs, funding sources must be flexible to usher in communities and respond to the rapidly changing environment of transportation electrification.
