Zech spent several years on the Microsoft Business Central team, building the tooling that partners used to migrate customers from on-premises NAV and BC to the cloud - and later running the programs that helped ISVs make the move from BC PaaS to BC SaaS. It was during that work that he first got to know the SwissSalary team.

When the opportunity came to join them, he packed up and moved from his hometown of Fargo, North Dakota to Switzerland. For four years he worked inside the SwissSalary product as a BC developer - building cloud-only companion apps, tightening engineering processes, and helping the company close the gap on becoming a fully cloud-native business. Since then, he moved back to the US, where he has put his full focus on building OnePayroll.

He will tell you Fargo is a great place to raise a family. He will not claim it competes with Switzerland on any other metric.

US Payroll: How hard can it be?

Come find out. This session is part product demo, part honest confession, and part story you probably weren't expecting to hear at a partner conference.

Most payroll software can run a paycheck. It can't tell you why a number changed, warn you about what's coming next pay period, or answer the question sitting in your client's inbox right now. If you're implementing BC for customers who've been asking why payroll can't just live natively in their system - and actually think while it's at it - this one is definitely for you.

Agents On. Payroll Done.
