Zahid is an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Principal Consultant working within Version 1’s Advisory Services. In his career he has proven his ability to solve complex problems, deliver complex projects, be flexible and to positively adapt to changing environments. He finds this has provided him with a good grounding for interacting with many different people, at all levels, both in his professional and personal life. He has attained both Oracle Certified Master (OCM) 11g and Oracle Ace Pro. He is also certified and experienced with Oracle’s Exadata and Database Appliance as well as well versed in Maximum Availability Architecture including Real Application Clusters. His next professional goal is to attain certification in all Public Cloud as well as OCM 12c. He regularly speaker at a number of UKOUG conferences, sharing my knowledge on Exadata, RAC, Databases, etc. More recently he has joined UKOUG as Member Advocate, responsible for looking after the interests of the UKOUG members within the Technology community. As a Non-Executive Director, my role is to help guide the direction of the user group to provide maximum benefit for members, partners and volunteers to enjoy.
