The Game Theory of Software Decision Making

While we are trying to build the best possible software engineering solution, we encounter many decisions we must make. Daily. Sometimes this even involves very active and passionate conversations, and might even go down the negative path, creating a bad atmosphere in the team. On top of that, it’s a huge waste of expensive R&D time. But what if those daily decisions could be much easier and easygoing? In this talk I will try to attack and eliminate the pain points of decision making in software engineering and how I helped my team to benefit from a lighter decision making process

My 5 Lines of Code Has 220K Downloads/m! My Journey and Lessons-Learned

Having 220K+ downloads a month wasn’t something that happened overnight. There is a very challenging journey behind it. In this lecture I’ll share my journey, starting as an idea, implemented by writing 5 code lines and eventually ended up with millions of downloads. I’ll reveal the steps behind the scenes of how to stand out with your open source project, the tools that will help you achieve that, how to gather an open source community, engaging downloads, PRs, stars and forks, up to being tweeted by CEOs of companies of interest.

What will the audience learn?
Together we will learn how anyone can increase the chances of a project that sparks in someone’s head and succeeds in impacting companies which are using it all over the world. The audience will get some tips on how to stand out with a good idea and spread the word about it. I will also show tools I’ve used and how they helped along the way to make my library more fancy and allow more developers to use it and contribute to it.

Come on Barbie, Let’s Go Party: Using AI for Music Mixing

As a DJ, I use many techniques to mix and create new sounds that get peoples’ hands in the air. In this talk I’ll describe AI algorithms based on Neural Networks which have the ability to break down music into elements. I’ll cover how our brain differentiate between dozens of different sound signals when we listen to music. Can we instruct AI to do so?
The cool part: live DJing on stage using AI algorithms.

This talk include live DJing on stage and there's a need to connect external music instruments
