Turning Campus Barriers into Campus Partners
Orientation is often planned by one office, but is a university-wide effort. This presentation invites attendees to discuss common challenges related to campus partnerships within OTR programming and how those challenges can be turned into successful campus collaborations. Presenters will share methods for maintaining and improving the relationships you have with campus partners and help you to view them as program highlights, rather than barriers.

First to Fly: Making Your Orientation First-Gen Ready
Coming to college is a significant transition for most students and family members. This transition can be even more complicated for our students who are the first in their family to attend a college or university and those that support them. In this session, we will explore common barriers to success for first-gen students and their families and how we can ease the transition to college through intentional OTR programming.
