InfoSex: Adding sexappeal to informationsecurity en

Information security, a topic that is getting increasingly dominant. Everyone in IT (and beyond) is talking about it these days.

Everyone has an opinion about information security, though we all seem to agree it isn't sexy. Why? Because it's a huge undertaking to get all our systems secure. What is secure anyway? Everyone seems to have a different opinion.

During this talk we're going to journey into the uncanny valley of information security in such a way that it's easy to understand, we'll look into some (relatively) easy steps to increase your information security and I'll even try to increase the sexiness of information security in general.

Many developers would love to work on a greenfield project. No existing boundaries, the sky is the limit.
There is a downside to this, as without borders it's hard to create (and keep) focus.

I've been there... did that, got the T-shirt, but I've learned some lessons (the hard way) whilst creating a greenfield cloud-native bespoke multi-tenant ERP solution.

In this talk, I'll take you on a trip, through the wide-open world of greenfield, and let you in on the caveats, the mistakes I've made, and the challenges I faced while getting to the initial release.
