Gaurav is a technology leader and entrepreneur with 16+ years of experience architecting and delivering high-impact software solutions across Telecom, Medical, Insurance, and now the frontier of AI-native product development.
As Co-founder & CTO at niwi, Gaurav owns the full technology vision — from strategic decisions and AI/ML roadmap to infrastructure governance, deployment pipelines, and organizational alignment. He leads a cross-functional team of 15–20 engineers, driving a culture of engineering excellence while keeping the product roadmap tightly in sync with real market demands.

One of his most ambitious initiatives is VINDRA (Vectorized Indian Nutrition Response Data Architecture) — a localized Large Language Model designed to bring culturally grounded, AI-powered nutrition intelligence to Indian users. It's where deep technical craft meets real-world impact.
At the leadership layer, Gaurav drives:
Technology strategy, architectural decisions, and AI development direction
IAM governance, multi-cloud deployments, and observability/monitoring frameworks
RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) implementations and LLM integration
AKS-based infrastructure, CI/CD oversight, and mobile application delivery
Sprint cadences, project timelines, capitalization planning, and executive leadership forums
At the engineering layer, he stays hands-on:
PR reviews and architectural code guidance
Full-stack development (ASP.NET Core, Angular) and microservices evolution
Best practices enforcement: Unit Testing, Integration Testing, SonarQube, logging, caching, and performance benchmarking
Beyond the code and boardroom, Gaurav runs a technology meetup community, mentors aspiring engineers, and delivers training sessions at colleges and universities on technology and entrepreneurship. He is also a poet — writing in his native language — and finds that creativity in one domain sharpens thinking in the other.

In this two days Virtual internship, students learned about AI and Machine Learning, types of Machine Learning and trained a model using Google Teachable Machine for using a smart food classifier application.
They learnt creating a python flask application, getting an API key from Google AI Studio, Making REST API calls for consuming Gemini 2.5 and integrated the bits and pieces and leveraged the trained model in the python application which makes call to Gemini to give pros and cons of eating the food image they uploaded.
