After more then 14 years of doing consultancy work, Henrik moved on to work first as a platform engineer at Lunar and then a Platform Lead at VELUX. He was among the first in Denmark to use and teach Cloud Native technologies in Denmark and among the first to get a Certified Kubernetes Administrator certification.
Today Henrik works as a Senior Manager at VELUX where he stopped working with people instead of yaml.

How adopting an IT product mindset changed VELUX
In this experience report Henrik Høegh will share how we at VELUX embarked a new journey to better scale and optimise for flow. VELUX was founded in 1941 and have traditionally been using external companies to run projects overseen by internal VELUX employees. But for the last couple of years we have been working towards a product mindset within VELUX IT, heavily inspired by Team Topologies, Domain Driven Design and The build trap. From the platform team Henrik will share our journeys pain points, learnings and wins.
