Jephter Ahimah is a Masters of Law Student and advocate for AI ethic and regulations as a member of Responsible AI UK and with keen interest in promoting AI framework implementation in Ghana and across the African regions. With 3 years of experience advocating for AI policy and regulation in Ghana, Jephter is extremely committed to contribute to ethical and legal frameworks for developing technologies in Africa, especially Ghana.
As an advocate, I actively contribute to discussions on AI ethics and governance during AI programmes on Bangor University campus and across Wales in the UK. Notwithstanding, I am also a co-founder of the Association of Data Analysts and AI Professionals, an NGO start-up launched with a diverse team member from legal studies to AI expert from the Bangor University and data scientist from Ghana. The organization is dedicated to promoting data regulation, AI policy in Ghana and Africa and fostering responsible AI deployment across the globe.
Jephter’s work focuses on the intersection of AI, law, and societal transformation, exploring the regulatory landscape of AI, data protection, and the impact of AI on employment and invention. Also, I am passionate about driving informed policymaking and ensuring AI technologies are deployed transparently and ethically for the benefit of all.
