Johan is a highly motivated and dedicated computer scientist with a diverse background in music, mathematics, and business. Born in Johannesburg, Johan pursued his passion for music and mathematics by earning degrees in music, applied mathematics, and computer science. He is currently pursuing PhD research in multi-agent systems and game theory.

As a software engineer, Johan has focused on web technologies and mobile applications, with occasional excursions into backend frameworks, cloud technologies, and low-level tinkering with Linux systems.

In his free time, Johan enjoy reading, traveling, music, and trail running. He has written and performed music of various genres around the country and ran a successful business.

Johan is deeply passionate about the things he turns his hand to, and is eager to explore and learn in great depth.

He currently lives in Johannesburg with his two lovely daughters.
