Jovan Popovic is a Principal Program Manager working on Microsoft Fabric Warehouses and Lakehouses. With a journey spanning back to 2012, Jovan has contributed extensively to Microsoft's data products, including Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL Managed Instance, Azure SQL Database, and Microsoft SQL Server. With over 15 years of expertise across diverse Microsoft technologies, he's focused on data analytics, cloud computing, and web technologies. A former Microsoft MVP for ASP.NET, Jovan holds a PhD in software engineering from the University of Belgrade. He is a speaker at major Microsoft conferences, author of multiple books, and open-source projects.
