Workshop :  Readiness Assessment for adopting Cybersecurity by Accountability Approach into future

Success of cybersecurity efforts always have strong need of respecting cybersecurity regulations and responsibilities. Ten years after beginning of cybersecurity presence in the business and society ecosystems we have a current situation with cybersecurity threats and negative consequences. It is time to change cybersecurity strategies and practices with more effective governance. The foundation of good cybersecure good governance incorporate two critical success factors: Cybersecurity CULTURE and Cybersecurity ACCOUNTABILITY. Top management must take the role it have to have.

Purpose:
Workshop is complementary with conference presentation

• need and benefits of effective cybersecurity governance readiness for adopting concepts of Cybersecurity Culture, and Accountability
• review of cybersecurity assessment by Cobit 2019 and ISO 38503 :2022 methodologies
• group exercise with performing pilot assessment for few components of cybersecurity governance criteria
• Presentations and discussing assessment results

Individual participants of the conference, motivated to aware of recent methodologies for Cybersecurity Governance assessment. Group size up to 15 participants

120 minutes time plan
15 minutes : Presentation workshop facilitator and participants, purpose and agenda,
30 minutes : review current Cybersecurity Governance standards and frameworks and assessment techniques
15 minutes : brake and walkaround disscusions
45 minutes : Cybersecurity Governance Pilot readiness assessment
15 minutes : Present individual team assessment results , discussion reflections from assessment process and brainstorming “follow up actions”
