Mary Murray Shelton received her BA in Drama from the University of Washington in Seattle, studied professional acting at the American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco, and completed PhD coursework at Meridian University in Imaginal Psychology. She has been a minister with Centers for Spiritual Living since 1986, pastoring five Centers in the US and British Columbia, serving twice on the former UCSL International Board, and as a regional Director of Holmes Institute School of Ministry.
Currently Rev. Mary is the Community Spiritual Leader of the Golden Gate Center for Spiritual Living in San Rafael, CA, and the instructor of Services, Ceremony and Ritual for the Northern California campus of our School of Spiritual Leadership.
Rev. Mary has written three books, and has spoken and facilitated retreats and workshops at conferences, conventions, and events in the U.S., Peru, India, the UK, Canada and Russia. She has performed so many sacred ceremonies she’s lost count.
Rev. Mary has a grown son and a 14-year-old grandson who live in Washington State. She and her spouse, Amanda Kreglow, live in Northern California and have been together nearly 30 years.
Entering the Resonance of Love
Participants will experience and participate in ritual using a finger labyrinth as one foundation of the process. Activities will include guided meditation/visioning, inner reflection/journaling, and actively participating in ritual.
Personal inner processes will invite them to evaluate what they would be willing to “set aside for now,” and what to “take back” at the end of the session.
Ideally, participants will enter this experience with willingness, intention, and serious respect for the sacred process. Even a ritual this short can open us into change, and invite us to choose new awarenesses to incorporate within at the conclusion of the workshop.
