Custom Connector Trigger: webhook or polling, that is the dilemma.
The ecosystem of standard connectors made available by Power Platform is vast. But what if the connector you want to use does not exist?
Custom connectors allow you to create your own connectors for any web service with a REST API.
In this session, we will explore one of the hidden gems of custom connectors, namely the creation of a webhook and polling type triggers.
We will see how to create a webhook trigger for a custom connector, but more importantly, we will look at the behind-the-scenes when the trigger is used in a cloud flow. We will compare this type with the "When an HTTP request is received" trigger to appreciate similarities and differences.
Using practical examples, we will also see how to implement a polling-type trigger and how it can be used in your power automate flows.

In questa sessione approfondiamo il modo in cui le adaptive cards posso rivoluzionare la collaborazione tra gli utenti.
Vedremo come creare una nuova card aggiungendo logica di business attraverso Power Fx e l'integrazione con i dati aziendali attraverso i connettori di Power Platform come Dataverse.
Enhanced component properties, un nuovo modo per lavorare con le Component Library.
La sessione prenderà in considerazione la nuova funzionalità Enhanced component properties per una PowerApps Canvas che utilizza le component library.
Questa funzionalità consente a partire da un componente di creare eventi custom per demandare una richiesta all'applicazione principale.
Il componente in questo scenario sarà incaricato solo della parte di rendering della risposta migliorando notevolmente le performance.
Riporterò un esempio pratico basato sulla mia esperienza di uso quotidiano.
La sessione prevederà una breve introduzione su cosa sono i custom connector e le component library.
Gran parte della sessione sarà destinata alla Demo.
Per quanto riguarda la Demo preparerò un semplice AppService per esporre un set di API REST da poter consumare da Custom Connector e Power Apps Canvas.
Mostrerò come configurare un Custom Connector ed infine spiegherò il funzionamento della proprietà di Behavior all'interno di una component library per gestire al meglio il rendering della risposta, mostrando come utilizzare una proprietà behavior e la proprietà parameter.
Mi soffermerò sul perchè in fase di sviluppo questa funzionalità può aiutare il citizen developer nel migliorare le performance, la manutenibilità dell'applicazione e il porting.
